Established in April 1996, Al Thuriah started as a dream project between two friends: Sheikh Majid Bin Hamad Al Qassimi and Engineer Raymond Khouzami. Over the years, we evolved from being a contracting firm to a growing integrated real estate family in Sharjah, developing and building the finest, high-quality residential and commercial spaces ranging from villas to high-rise towers.
Today, Al Thuriah is a fully integrated real estate group offering end-to-end solutions through specialized divisions: Properties, Construction and Facilities Management. Al Thuriah Building Construction began in 1996 as a modest contracting firm, with its first project being the fence of Lycée Libanais Francophone Privé in Dubai. In its early years, the company concentrated on small-scale developments and low-rise buildings across Dubai and Sharjah. From these humble beginnings, Al Thuriah set the foundation for steady growth, achieving key milestones that paved the way for its expansion into large-scale and high-rise projects.
In 2004, Al Thuriah Properties was founded, solidifying our position as a premier property developer. Our portfolio includes a diverse range of residential, office, and industrial developments.
Our first residential venture, Sahara Tower 1, became part of the iconic Sahara Complex in Al Nahda, Sharjah, which eventually expanded to six towers. This milestone marked the start of our commitment to creating landmark developments, a vision continued with the introduction of the impressive Future Towers in Al Khan, Sharjah.
As Al Thuriah’s reputation grew, we launched our Facilities Management division in 2009, delivering world-class services across Dubai, Sharjah, Fujairah, and beyond. In 2025, Al Thuriah further expanded its capabilities by acquiring Sterling Sanitary & Electro-Mechanical, a leading MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) contracting company.
