Part of Al Thuriah Group’s Sahara complex, Sahara 6 comprises two towers, with a total of 376 apartments

UAE-headquartered property developer Al Thuriah Group has announced that construction of its Sahara 6 Tower is now 70% complete.

The company said it expects to be able to start handing over residential and commercial units in the development by mid-2019.

Handover was originally scheduled to begin in December 2019, the company noted.

Al Thuriah Group’s CEO, Eng Raymond Khouzami, explained that construction works are progressing faster than anticipated owing to an operational restructuring that the company implemented.

The restructuring exercise reportedly produced four departments: Al Thuriah Properties, Al Thuriah Construction, Al Thuriah Leasing, and Al Thuriah Services and Facilities Management.

Part of Al Thuriah Group’s Sahara complex, which is located between Sharjah and Dubai, Sahara 6 comprises two towers, consisting of 376 apartments in total.

All apartments and shops are available for freehold ownership in accordance with the laws and regulations of Sharjah, Al Thuriah added.

According to the group, it is overseeing the different stages of the project’s development, from concept development to actual execution.

Sahara Complex spans 28.8ha and features 1,348 apartments.
