Yes. Expats can buy freehold property in designated investment zones in Sharjah, such as Al Khan, Al Mamzar (Sharjah side), Al Nahda and Muwaileh. Al Thuriah develops projects in these areas, so eligible non-UAE nationals can purchase apartments and penthouses with full ownership rights, subject to current government regulations.
